who follows this blog has learned to understand that we are not the party of no, but a party proactive and attentive to local issues, not holed up in the choices that could have a positive impact now and negative tomorrow. Our proposals do not remain locked up at the local level, because we are conscious of the fact that scelte effettuate da un comune, influiscono su quelli accanto. E' per questo che oggi voglio parlarvi di un'associazione di comuni che ha fatto propri questi obiettivi:
"...intervenire a difesa dell’ambiente e migliorare la qualità della vita, e tutelare i Beni Comuni, intesi come beni naturali e relazionali indisponibili che appartengono all’umanità, sia possibile e tale opportunità la vogliono vivere concretamente non più come uno slogan, consapevoli che la sfida di oggi è rappresentata dal passaggio dalla enunciazione di principi alla prassi quotidiana.
Le finalità statutarie riguardano in particolare l’impegno a:· aspirare ad una ottimale gestione del territorio, all’insegna del principio ispiratore del “no consumo di suolo” (Opzione cementificazione zero, recupero e riqualificazione aree dismesse, progettazione e programmazione del territorio partecipata, bioedilizia, etc.);·
ridurre l’impronta ecologica della macchina comunale attraverso misure ed interventi concreti ed efficienti (efficienza energetica, acquisti verdi, mense biologiche, etc.);·
ridurre l’inquinamento atmosferico promuovendo politiche e progetti concreti di mobilità sostenibile (car-sharing, bike-sharing, car-pooling, trasporto pubblico integrato, piedibus, scelta di alternative fuels to petrol and cleaner, in accordance with local agricultural products, aimed at meeting the food needs of their communities and biodiversity, etc.). ·
promote proper waste management, no longer seen as a problem but as a resource, through the collection "door to door" and the activation of specific projects leading to the reduction of waste production (projects for waste reduction and reuse, etc.), a policy that aims to target zero waste; ·
encourage new ways of life in local bodies and in their communities through policies and design to stimulate citizenship simple daily choices and sustainable (self, short chain, and organic food in season, support the development of buying groups, sustainable tourism and hospitality, promotion of a culture of peace, cooperation and solidarity, "unpacking" of land, spreading the fair trade, time banks, self, ethical finance, etc), facilitating the greatest possible self-production of goods and the exchange of "services", removing the market for a society inspired by the themes of moderation de-growth. The association of which I speak is the Association dei Comuni Virtuosi. Noi dell'IdV proponiamo all'amministrazione comunale di aderire a questa associazione che da anni propone iniziative concrete da non sottovalutare.
